Olympic Airlines and Aegean Airlines run scheduled flights from Athens to our neighbour island Kos. Then take the ferry from Mastichari (Kos island) to Kalymnos. The boat journey is 20-45 minutes.

BY SEA

You can travel by ferry to Kalymnos from our neighbouring island Kos (15 km) or from Piraeus, port of Athens (340 km).
Boats arrive at Pothia in Kalymnos. It is a five minute taxi from the port to the Villa Melina. Taxis arrive to meet ferries and there is a Tourist Information Desk on the jetty in Pothia.

Ferries from Kos

Mastichari port is a 10 minute taxi journey from Kos airport and there are approximately five boats per day to Kalymnos. Tickets can be purchased on the quayside and the boat journey takes 20 or 45 minutes, depending on which boat you catch.

Ferries from Athens.

The boat journey from Piraeus, port of Athens, to Kalymnos is approximately 10-15 hours, depending on which boat you catch. Ferries normally depart Piraeus in the afternoon and arrive in Kalymnos the following morning. Check companies for latest schedules:
